This is a self-guided Sausalito adventure designed exclusively for couples who enjoy games while they test their skills the beautiful downtown.

Your mission?
Start at the Ferry Landing, solving a trail of history-based riddles to find our hidden "Safe House" (look for the Gargoyle), receive a locked vintage gourmet picnic basket packed with the local cheese and charcuterie as well as a bottle of wine., Finish the treasure hunt where the last clue allows you to open the basket and enjoy the fruits (and cheeses) of your labor.

The Mission: Your team meets at the Sausalito Ferry Landing. There are no guides here—just you, your squad, and a sealed dossier of riddles. You’ll need sharp eyes and street smarts to navigate the waterfront, hunting for clues hidden in statues, street signs, and local landmarks.

Meet at the Ferry Landing and hand your "Little Explorers" their official Mission Map. We’ve designed the clues to be fun and visual—kids will need to spot specific statues, count giant palm trees, and find the "secret animals" hiding in plain sight along the waterfront.

You’ll hunt for bronze guardians, trace the steps of bohemian artists, and discover the hidden architecture that gives this town its soul.

Meeting Point
Starting point is at the outside the Sausalito Ferry Terminal / 100 Humboldt Ave, Sausalito, CA 94965.
Once tickets have been purchased, the first three clues (that bring you to the 'safe house' for you to collect your basket) will be sent to you.
Ferry service from Sausalito to San Francisco begins at 7:00 AM Monday through Friday. The last departure is at 6:30 PM.
On weekends and holidays, the first departure out of Sausalito is 11:20 AM and the last departure is at 7:20 PM.

Combine the excitement of the Sausalito Treasure Hunt with a 1 hour, 2 hour or 3 hour city tour (it's your choice how many clues you want and additional clues do not cost more).

Guided from our sealed envelopes (you get these when you find our 'safe house', teams make their way among well known and overlooked gems of the city, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history.
